Fine Art Photography
It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary. (David Bailey)
I believe the art of photography started way back with “Let there be light!”. I also believe we should treat this mystical, ever-changing and vital force with adequate respect and do our best when we catch it’s reflections on objects around us. That requires stillness, lonesomeness and meditation. And also a lot of time to learn to see the extraordinary. I hope to continue learning to see it.
In January 2011 I started my Minimalist Fine Art 365 Project – see the latest photos here.
