Something rather unusual happened today, especially at 10:10:10am. I wanted to mark this occasion by collaborating with two other artists but it somehow didn’t happen. I had been thinking about a theme for this project when one of the people I had invited to work with me came up with an idea of Decalogue. Hard to beat, isn’t it? So, here is my version of it. (I am planning to launch an e-Book and offer the images as a limited edition of prints. Keep an eye on this blog if you are interested.)

All of the plants are dead, yet they carry an important piece of information for future generations. That’s why they remind me of the Ten Commandments.

Dnes sa udialo niečo výnimočné, zvlášť dopoludnia o 10:10:10. Zamýšľal som vytvoriť v tento deň niečo a uvažoval som o spolupráci s ďalšími dvoma umelcami, žiaľ, nestalo sa. Keď som uvažoval o téme pre tento projekt, jeden z ľudí, ktorých som oslovil, prišiel s myšlienkou Desatora. Ťažko človek vymyslí niečo lepšie, že? Takže, tu je moja verzia.

Všetky tieto rastliny sú mŕtve, a predsa nesú veľmi dôležitú informáciu pre ďalšie generácie. Práve preto mi pripomínajú Desať prikázaní. (Plánujem vydať e-Book a ponúknuť celú sériu ako limitovanú kolekciu obrazov. Pozrite sa občas na tento blog, ak vás to zaujíma.)
